Block & Retaining Walls
CMU yard walls and retaining walls with real footings and drainage.
Overview
The cinder-block wall is Albuquerque's fence, and the difference between one that stands for fifty years and one that leans in ten is everything you can't see: a poured footing sized to the wall, rebar-grouted cores, and — on retaining walls — gravel backfill and weep drainage so monsoon water never builds pressure behind it. We lay courses plumb and true, finish stucco-ready or capped, and pull the permit when the height calls for one.
Signs you need this
- An old wall that's leaning, bowing, or cracked through
- A yard that needs a privacy or perimeter wall
- A slope that's slowly washing into the usable yard
- A retaining wall that moved after a heavy monsoon season
