Real-Estate Septic Inspection

Point-of-sale and peace-of-mind inspections, in writing.

Overview

When a home on septic changes hands, the tank is the one major system nobody can see — and the priciest surprise a buyer can inherit. We open the tank, measure sludge and scum levels, inspect the baffles, tees, and lids, check that the drainfield is accepting flow, and run water from the house to watch the system work. You get a written report you can hand to a buyer, seller, lender, or agent.

Signs you need this

  • Buying a home on septic and need it checked before closing
  • Selling and want no surprises during the option period
  • No record the tank has ever been pumped or serviced
  • Lender or buyer asking for a septic evaluation
